Lee Priest will be a special guest at the NPFC –IFBB Victorian titles on Oct 11, Queensland on Oct 12, and Australian on Oct 19.

The IFBB Tasmanian Bodybuilding Championships will be held on Saturday October 4, 2008 at the Hobart College Auditorium. Australian pro Luke Wood will be the guest poser. For more information see www.xtremegym.com.au

The third annual Oxygen Sports Model of the Year will take place in Perth, on Tuesday October 21st at the Leederville Hotel at 7pm. Top IFBB pro bodybuilder Dennis Wolf, who recently placed 4th at this years Olympia will be there as well signing autographs and guest posing.

The ticket allows entry to the Dennis Wolf event as well as the Oxygen model search contest, and is priced at: general entry: $25, Body Plus members $20, at the door $30.

Promoted by Craig Lucas, the  Country Classic Invitational will be held on August 16, 2008 at the Capital Theatre in Bendigo.

The show starts at 2pm, and tickets are $50.

Classes include:

• Mens Masters [40+]
• Mens Novice
• Mens Open Qualifier
• Mens Open
• Womens Bodybuilding [one class]
• Figure [one class]

There is a good array of prizes on offer including a plasma TV, DVD player, home theatre system, watch, championship belt, medallion, cover shot and 6 page profile in Hardcore Aussie Muscle magazine. IFBB pros Christene Envall and Arina Manta are the scheduled guest posers.

Promoted by Paul and Carol Graham, this will be held on Sunday April 27th. Divisions include male/female bodybuilding, fitnes and figure. One male bodybuilder and one female figure will be selected to represent Australia at the 2009 Arnold Classic Amateur in Ohio, USA. Australian IFBB pro Con Demetriou will be guest posing, and 2-time Figure Olympia Champion Jenny Lynn is scheduled to be a guest judge.
