A former NFPC-IFBB and NABBA Australasia overall champion, Shane was born in Victoria, Australia on August 6, 1969.

At a height of 5'7" he competed at around 225lbs [102kg], while ranging from 240 - 250lbs [109 – 113kg] in the off-season.Retired from competitive bodybuilding, Shane weighs about 200lbs [91kg] and competes in motorsports successfully, and is the 2005 and 2006 Thailand Supermoto Overall Champion.

Married to former figure champion Diane Jardim Stratton, they have one child and reside in Thailand.
