WNSO/FAME in Toronto 2008

Australia sent a contingent to compete in the World Natural Sports Organisation [WNSO]/ FAME World Amateur Championships in Toronto, Canada in June 2008. All 5 competitors made an excellent showing, with all of them placing in the top 3 and two being awarded FAME professional status! Ryan Laos and Michelle Goodall both won their classes in bodybuilding and earned FAME pro status.

 

Placings:

Ryan Laos | bodybuilding 1st  

Murray Graham | bodybuilding, 3rd place

Markeeta Maletz | figure, 2nd  

Stefanie Williams | figure, 3rd

Michelle Goodall | bodybuilding, 1st

 

33 year old Ryan Laos beat entrants from the UK, USA and Europe to win the advanced bodybuilding class and earn FAME pro status

 

 

Looking very impressive for her 41 years years, Michelle is from Brisbane and also won her bodybuilding class and was awarded FAME pro status.

 

 

38 year old Murray, trained by Australian IFBB pro Jonathan Davie placed 3rd.

 

 

32 year old Markeeta placed 2nd in figure and is trained by Australian IFBB pro Rosa-Maria Romero, and Markeeta’s mother made the 24 hour journey from Australia to watch her compete!

 

 

 

23 year old Stephanie Williams placed 2nd in figure and is trained by Australian IFBB pro Jon Davie.
