Michael Kingsnorth started training at age 18, and after winning a number of amateur titles was awarded IFBB pro status in 2006. He made his pro debut at the IFBB Australia Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia in March 2008 where he placed 12^th and followed that up with a 12^th place finish in his second pro show. At a height 179cm /5ft 11” Michael competes at a contest weight approximately 95kg [209lbs].
