Accept that it takes work, and stop looking for the easy way. The sooner you accept there is no 'magic pill' and start doing what is necessary, the sooner you will loose weight.
Stop making excuses. You say you are too busy to exercise? Get up ½ hour earlier. You say you can't afford it? Walking is free! Excuse the cliché but 'There are no reasons, only excuses'.
Don't let others pull you down. There will always be someone offering you some fatty food, or asking you to skip your workout to go to the movies with them. Remember you are doing this for you, and put yourself first.
Every day will not be perfect, if you mess up don't be discouraged just get right back on track.
Throw out/give away clothes or get them altered as they get too large for you. That way if you fall off and start gaining weight again you will have nothing to wear.
Appreciate your progress. If you lose 10kg/ 25 lbs, stop and congratulate yourself instead of just worrying about how much more you have to lose
Take a picture of yourself in a bathing suit and use it to comparison purposes. Like they say, a 'picture speaks 1,000 words'. It is very satisfying to actually see the difference in yourself
