Amanda was an IFBB fitness professional. She resides in Melbourne and is married to promoter Tony Doherty, and is a mother of three. She was the first Australian fitness athlete to be invited to compete at the prestigious Arnold Classic. In 2004 Amanda made a switch to amateur bodybuilding, where she placed 2nd at the Australian Championships.
