Promoted by Paul and Carole Graham, the NPFC-IFBB Australian Nationals were held on Sat Oct 18 and Sun Oct 19 at the Sharkies Club in Sydney. There were 11 judges total including Rosa-Marie Romero, Sandra Lee Jose, Sharon Waters, Cynthia Duca, Nathan Page, Debbie Austin, Mike O'Mara and Adam Blinoff with Phil Kabakov helping backstage.

IFBB pro Dennis Wolf from Germany was the guest poser, with top Aussie pro Lee Priest also in attendence. Some of the other notables in the crowd included Charlie Duca, Nick Jones, Peter Memmet, Andre Burrows and IFBB pros Arina Manta, Luke Wood and John Terilli. Tony Doherty was the MC, and a minute of silence was held in respect to the passing of the founder of the IFBB Ben Weider.
